This year, the creativity of the queer community takes centre stage at the MQ Pride Night!

The evening, curated by Daniel Hill, begins with solo performances by two well-known singers, Athene Atlas and Oluchukwu Akusinanwa. The actress, singer, event producer and ‘Godmother of Vienna's Queer Underground’ Athene Atlas will perform songs from her repertoire. Big emotions, a great voice and a unique kind of drag. The Nigerian-born musician Oluchukwu Akusinanwa (aka LoveMore) will present five original songs from his current albums. His innovative blend of Afrobeat, Amapiano and Reggae music is also a method of communication and entertainment. The queer artists Evandro Pedroni and Mzamo Nondlwana appear as ‘The Influenzers’ in an exaggerated performance to reflect on social media phenomena in a world of superficiality and filters.

Drag performer Lady Nutjob will guide us through a revolution in the Viennese drag performance scene with a ‘gagworthy’ performance by Brazilian drag queen Madame Léa and the innovative queer performance collectives Haus of Rausch and BroHomo! The MQ Pride Night ends with a one-hour DJ set by Rumi von Baires. The Vienna-based Argentinian DJ and social scientist is known in the queer house music scene in Vienna for GAZE and making strides internationally in various clubs, parties and festivals.

The event will be hosted by Daniel Hill and Denise Palmieri.

Almdudler provides a refreshing cool-down during the MQ Pride Night.
